The educational methodology used in the program is the mixed educational process (blended learning), which combines face-to-face teaching (i.e. conventional classroom teaching) with computer-mediated teaching and the internet. That is, it combines the conventional educational process of classroom teaching with the use of distance education methods.
Program meetings are held in Athens or remotely and are held on non-working days and hours. In addition, the program uses supportive teaching through the use of virtual learning environments (VLEs) and other modern technological tools. This includes opportunities for each student to interact on a personal basis with members of the teaching staff, during which students can receive assistance or personalized feedback on their progress.
Specially configured distance education tools such as e-class, Microsoft Teams, Webex, etc., are used for the continuous communication of students and teachers with the aim of optimal learning results. Distance education supports the use of modern educational methodology and, in combination with lifelong learning, contributes to effective lifelong learning.
In addition, at the end of each semester, an evaluation of each course and each teacher is carried out by the postgraduate students. A specific questionnaire with evaluation questions is distributed to the students and within a certain period of time they have the right to evaluate the program. The results of the assessment are taken into account for the improvement of the program.
